Confessions Of A Concealaholic by Benefit.

WOW! That is all I can say to describe this kit, I love it! This kit consists of 5 miniature benefit concealers and brighteners and retails for £28.50. I really feel the kit is worth every penny though. So if you want to try some benefit products and don't know where to start or are a concealer junkie looking for the perfect one keep reading.

First of I give a 5 stars for the packaging, it's made to look like a diary and I love that concept. Every aspect of this kit has the diary theme to it right down to the booklet about applying it which is written in diary entries! You will also find a nifty mirror inside which is a great size for on the go touch ups.

'That Gal' is a brightening face primer that in full size retails for £22.50. In the kit you are given a 7.5ml tube of that gal. The instructions booklet tells you to use this on your cheeks and nose and I can see my colour brighten as soon as I rub it in! As well as brightening my face the primer also has the lovely smell of strawberries which some people don't like but personally I love.

'Erase Paste' is a brightening camouflage according to benefit and they do not lie! The full size of this retails for £19.50 and this kit comes with a 3.2g pot of it in the shade medium. This is a first thing I think benefit could have looked more into in this kit, the erase paste only comes in medium and of course we are not all the same skin colour. For really pale people like myself when its winter this will be to dark and for darker people it will be too light so I think benefit could have customised the kit with skin colour in mind. As its summer I can get away with wearing a small amount of the medium shade but I think I will need to stop as it goes into winter. From what I have been using this stuff is brilliant! It really does cover dark circles, is easy to blend and doesn't crease, so I am a big fan!

'Boi-ing' is an industrial strength concealer. This kit contains shade 1 and 2 in 1.3g pans, the full size retails at £17.50 At the moment my spots are pretty under control with no bad break outs so I haven't had a good go of this stuff yet. The few times that I have used it was on a spot on my chin and I used a mix of shade 1 and 2. I found that not only did it cover the spot but the spot stayed covered even though I was sweating a lot that day! One problem I have come across is mine are drying out a bit which is annoying.

'Lemon Aid' is a colour correcting eyelid primer. The full size of this would cost you £16.50 and the kit comes with a 0.9g pan of it. I have been using this to prime my eyelids before I put eye shadow on and have seen a great difference. My eye shadow has been staying put, one night I fell asleep with my make up on and still had to take eye shadow off in the morning... crazy! I really like this stuff and may buy the full size in the future.

'Eye Bright' instant eye brightener. This kit comes with a 0.9g pan of this and it's not sold on it's own in benefit. In the instruction booklet they say its a 'pink cream' but I see it as more of a lavender colour. I have been using this on the dark inner corners of my eyes and can see a brightness, it doesn't cover up the darkness but brightens it up a bit which is lovely.

So all in all a wonderfully little kit! It also comes with 2 double sided brushes that each which are labelled with what product you use them with, I thought was a cute touch. There is something about miniature products that I love and benefit did not disappoint with this kit! Love it!
